In line with the (initiative) campaign launched by the College of Nursing, which aims to serve the community, and with the personal follow-up of Prof. Dr. Abdul-Amir Abdullah Al-Mousawi, Dean of the College of Nursing, and under the supervision of the teacher, Dr. Sundus Baqer Daoud, Head of the Fundamentals Branch The College of Nursing at the University of Basra, in cooperation with the Oil Training Institute in Basra/Women Empowerment Unit, organized an attendance workshop on vital signs, in which assistant teacher Saja Karim, assistant teacher Zainab Salman, assistant teacher Khadija Muhammad, and assistant teacher Ali Malik attended. The workshop addressed the importance of vital signs and how to measure them, and the training of the institute's staff on how to use medical thermometers and pressure devices. During the visit, simulated dolls were identified with a detailed explanation of the use of these dolls. For his part, Al-Moussawi stressed that this visit is an important step to enhance cooperation between the college and the Petroleum Training Institute in Basra Governorate and to enhance cooperation between the two parties. |
