A master's thesis at the College of Medicine, University of Basra, discussed the molecular immunological detection of inflammatory cytokines of interleukins 4, 6 and 10 for patients with bladder cancer in Basra. The research presented by the student Sahar Abdul-Majid Azab aims to detect interleukins and O10 in bladder cancer using ELISA technology on the serum of patients, and to evaluate the titer and molecular study using traditional PCR technology and genetic sequencing. The research concluded that there was a significant increase in interleukin-4 concentrations (picogram ml) between males and females of bladder cancer patients were higher than males and females in the control group. The molecular study also included the extraction of DNA from the blood samples of bladder cancer and the control group using specific primers of conventional PCR technique, amplification of all DNA extracted from whole blood samples and confirmation using electrophoresis was performed.
