The College of Administration and Economics at the University of Basrah organized a scientific and economic symposium on the economic importance of maritime navigation in Khor Abdullah.
The symposium, which was moderated by Asst. Prof. Ban Ali Al-Mashhadani, and presented by Dr. Najm Al-Din Abdullah and the instructor Adnan Habib, touched on the importance of completing the Great Port of Al-Faw project and implementing the Dry Canal because of its economic importance to the trade movement in Iraq and supplementing the general budget with more than six billion dollars annually.
