The College of science organized a seminar about the application of some organic compounds as antioxidants . This study is concerned with preparing an antioxidants containing effective functional groups, from curcumin analogues and diagnosing and studying its effectiveness, and then these compounds were mixed with one of the commercial polymers of low density polyethylene in order to conduct a thermal study of the products and the effect of antioxidants on the stability of low density polyethylene by increasing the degrees of dissociation of the polymer.
