The President of Basrah University, Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, received the Cultural Attaché of the Republic of Iraq in Russia, Dr. Habib Mutashar Aboud.
The two sides exchanged talks about developing areas of research and scientific cooperation between Basrah University and Russian universities.
The Cultural Attaché of the Republic of Iraq in Russia, Dr. Habib Mutashar Aboud, touched on the most important activities that the attaché could provide to the University of Basrah, which would have an impact on raising the university's hierarchy locally, Arably and internationally.
For his part, the university president expressed Basrah University's readiness to host any of the Russian professors for the purpose of giving specialized lectures in the fields of rare specializations.
