The Continuing Development and Education Center at the University of Basrah organized a lecture on educational content.
The lecture, which is part of a developmental training course for faculty members in teaching methods, aims to familiarize the participants with the educational content and its importance in providing learners with important information that is compatible with educational goals.
The course presented by Dr. Bahaa Shubram Ghadeeb included introducing the educational content, identifying the components of the knowledge system, the steps for selecting content, and standing on the most prominent criteria for selecting content, and the mechanism and standards for organizing educational content.
The course recommended that the educational content should be consistent with international standards and be compatible with the objectives envisaged by it, and that the educational content should be in a state of renewal to keep pace with modern developments at all levels.
