Basrah University contracted employees organized a celebration in the university presidency building on the occasion of the approval of the Ministry of Finance for a financial allocation for employees contracted before the second of October, 2019.
The ceremony included honoring the university president, Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, and his assistant for administrative affairs, Dr. Ali Himdhi, and the employees expressed their thanks for the efforts made by the university.
The president of the university gave his great thanks for this initiative, indicating that the university will make more efforts to include all contracted employees who were initiated after 10/2/2019 in the financial allocations.
For his part, the Director of the Administrative and Financial Affairs Department, Dr. Ahmed Al-Malki, confirmed that the university is keen to follow up and facilitate all obstacles facing the university's employees.
The director of the daily wages and lecturers unit at the university presidency, Ibtihaj Zaki Muhammad, indicated that funds have been allocated to disburse the wages of contracted employees in accordance with Resolution 315 and 337 for the year 2019, whose number is 1102 employees.
