The Cultural Center at the University of Basrah, in cooperation with the College of Fine Arts, organized a symposium entitled (Prospects for scientific research in theatrical arts, proposals and applications).
The symposium aims to exchange research experiences between academic institutions producing theatrical scientific research.
The symposium included several topics that discussed the prospects of scientific research in theatrical arts, the staticity of the curriculum and the sterility of postgraduate studies in colleges of fine arts, the specificity of scientific research in theatrical arts, the actor and displacement and the problematic of the curriculum at work, and the multiplicity of research methods in fine arts and their methodological dependencies.
