Dr. Abdullah Abbas Tamimi published a research entitled "Improving the performance of the solar cell (p3HT:ZnO) by adding Metal Oxide Fe2O3 Nanoparticles, In the journal of Faculty of Science at The University of Baghdad, This research involved optimizing the electric structure of the solar cell through the combination of following two ways: depositing nanoparticles of ferric oxide as interface layer on the buffer layer of poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythionene): poly(styrene sulfonate) and using regioregular poly(3-hexylthiophene) along with zinc oxide nanoparticles as active layer. This addition led to a significant increase in the performance of prepared solar cells, solar cell devices were manufactured at a different weight ratio of polyhyxathiofen and zinc nanooxide, then examined physical properties and the results of the examination layer of absorption of overlapping materials gave a wide range of all ratios.
