The Department of Ecology at the College of Science at the University of Basra organized a seminar on ways to remove petroleum hydrocarbons from industrial wastewater using environmentally friendly materials.
The seminar, which was lectured by graduate student Haider Kamel Zayer, aims to know the stages of removing petroleum hydrocarbons from industrial wastewater using environmentally friendly methods and using natural materials.
The lecture explained the importance of treating wastewater that is circulated by factories and factories before it is released to the environment, due to the petroleum hydrocarbons it contains and its dangerous effects on the ecosystem.
