The teaching staff in the Department of Animal Production at the College of Agriculture at Basra University, Prof. Dr. Majid Hassan Abdul-Ridha, participated in a scientific symposium on meat contaminants and their impact on human health, which was held at the College of Education for Girls, Tikrit University. The participation included a lecture entitled "Chemical and biological pollutants deposited in meat and their impact on human health." The lecture aimed at recommending the monitoring of product contaminants and determining the appropriate scientific analysis path for each examination, as well as raising awareness among consumers about the seriousness of meat contamination.
