The College of Computer Science and Information Technology at the University of Basrah, in cooperation with the Avicenna Center for E-Learning, announces the organization of an electronic workshop on cloud computing, with the participation of Amazon AWS, on Thursday, January 20, 2022.
The lecturer of the workshop is Engineer Ammar Hanoun, who lives in the United States of America and is of Iraqi origin. He specializes in computing, informatics, cybersecurity and digital criminal investigation. His research interests lie in the use of artificial intelligence to manage smart systems and information security.
Workshop topics included:
❖ Introduction to cloud computing.
❖ Managing data centers and the method of linking hybrid computing.
❖ Methods of managing private and collective computing.
❖ Cloud implementation of all kinds and how to choose the optimal method for infrastructure.
❖ Managing Amazon services and the differences between them in terms of cloud computing.
❖ Methods of permanent data storage and data archiving.
❖ Managing the load distributor on the devices and monitoring the processors of storage units and temporary memory.
❖ Information security in computing and the risk of data sharing.
