The Department of Geographical Studies at Basrah and Arabian Gulf Studies Center at the University of Basrah organized a symposium on juvenile crimes and their impact on Basrah community.
The symposium included a discussion of many research papers related to the concept of crime, its causes and treatments, and the most prominent laws, regulations and measures taken against juveniles.
The symposium recommended the necessity of establishing homes for juvenile care and the cooperation of civil society organizations with the security services and citizens to curb the spread of crime.
