The College of Engineering at the University of Basrah, in cooperation with the Iraqi Engineers Syndicate - the General Center, organized a scientific symposium, entitled (Developments of Digital Technologies and Their Applications in the Field of Design and Architectural Engineering Sciences), in Al-Mansuriya hall at the headquarters of the Engineers Syndicate in Baghdad - Al-Mansour.
The symposium included delivering nine scientific lectures by specialists in the fields of information technology and digital architecture from different Iraqi and Arab universities. The symposium aims to address the importance of these developments and their applications in the fields of architectural design, science, and various architectural knowledge.
The symposium included a number of discussions and opinions from the attendees represented by professors of architecture from various Iraqi universities, and most of the opinions agreed on the importance of the topic of the symposium and the need to give it the utmost importance by all concerned institutions.
