The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Nabil Kazem Abdel Sahib, renewed his support for the Students Sports Club and his keenness to provide capabilities and treatments that befit the reputation and history of the club and its fans.
During his meeting with the temporary administrative body of the Students Club headed by the Undersecretary of the Ministry, Dr. Ali Hameed Kazem Al Shukri, he praised the efforts of the administrative body, its president and its working members, who embodied a remarkable keenness to overcome logistical challenges and provide the requirements of eligibility and competition for the football team and its history of achievements and championships.
The Minister of higher Education urged the importance of building on the results achieved by the club in the Iraqi league and investing in the positive indicators of the current situation and overcoming obstacles through cooperation and institutional integration and the preservation of public money, instructing to initiate the foundation steps for the club’s stadium and study the necessary plans and requirements.
For his side, the head of the club's administrative body expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the positive support from the Minister to the club and its staff, and for providing the possible treatments and solutions that would give the necessary impetus and follow-up to the team.
The members and staff of the administrative body presented their developmental opinions, views and observations on the path of support and development, praising at the same time the success achieved in managing the club and the impact of the recorded results on the foreseeable future of the reputable student team.
