Through the conference, lectures were given and scientific research was discussed, with the participation of Arab and foreign researchers via the electronic platform.
The first day of the activities of the Faculty of Dentistry conference
The conference began with reciting blessed verses from the Holy Quran, raising the national anthem and reading Al-Fatihah for the souls of our martyrs.
The conference opened with Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, President of Basra University, giving his speech and praising it for the necessity of the work of international conferences, the participation of countries in these conferences, and the advancement of Basra University among international universities.

Thanks to the distinguished guests, Mr. Hazem Al-Araji and the representative of the Basra governor, Dr. Safaa Muslim Bandar, a member of the Higher Education Committee for Development and Research, and Dr. Hisham Kazem from the Basra Health Department and the companies participating in the conference.
Where the President of the University of Basra, Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, inaugurated the exhibition of joint stock companies to display the latest scientific findings in the techniques of dental tools and their treatment. He also opened the advanced products in the Analog Similarity Laboratory.
Dr. Sundus, Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs, gave her first lecture entitled The Future of the Dental Profession at the College of Dentistry and Basra Governorate, between reality and solutions.

The most important topics covered by the conference in the field of dentistry are oral and maxillofacial surgery, pediatric dentistry, as well as treatment, cosmetics, orthodontics, and the dental industry.
