The College of Science at the University of Basrah, in cooperation with the United Namariq Academy for Training and Development, organized a workshop on the Scoop of Geologist.
The workshop, which was delivered by the geologist, Mr. Muhammad Obaid, aims to introduce students of the fourth stage in the fields of geologist's work and its development in international oil extraction companies.
The workshop dealt with an explanation of the role of the geologist in the oil fields and drilling towers, the readings of the probes, and the latest methods and software used in the management of oil wells.
The workshop recommended that the concerned departments should pay attention to the role of the geologist and the importance of his experience and knowledge in managing and developing work.
