The Continuing Education Unit at the College of Fine Arts held an electronic panel discussion on Laurent Geir Ferro's model in the artistic structural analysis of the woman's form for one of Roger Capron's works.
The panel discussion presented by Dr. Rola Abdel-Ilah included the method of analyzing ceramic art forms in a sample of scientific research and a theoretical explanation of ten analytical steps as well as their practical application in analyzing the ceramic artist models whose topic was devoted to women. The panel discussion was attended by a group of college professors and a distinguished group of postgraduate and undergraduate students.
The symposium aims at defining a new way of analyzing artworks other than ceramics, including sculpture and drawing, and introducing students to them to benefit from them in their scientific research, as well as shedding light on the artist and his ceramic artworks and the method he discovered in analyzing artworks.
