The College of Administration and Economics at the University of Basrah discussed the research of the higher diploma entitled (The Possibility of Applying the ISO 14001:2015 Standard, an Applied Study in the North Oil Company).
The research of the student Wissam Kazem Faleh aims to define the possibility of implementing the environmental management system according to the specification LSO 14001: 2015 in the North Oil Company and the company’s great and continuous endeavor to apply the provisions of the standard in order to obtain it in the future to meet the successive competitive challenges locally, regionally and globally in order to raise the company’s reputation.
The researcher recommended the necessity of adopting the international standard for environmental management system LSO 14001:2015 by the North Oil Company and making it among the priority of its strategic goals that it strives to reach in the future.
