The College of Medicine at the University of Basrah organized the second scientific conference for postgraduate students in the group of biomedical colleges. The conference dealt with postgraduate students’ research and how to present their work and encourage them to break the barrier of fear to participate in local and international conferences.
As only postgraduate students from masters and PhD in medical specialties participated in preparing the conference, in cooperation with doctors from Britain, represented by Dr. Amer Al-Saffar.
The conference met with great resonance in the research and scientific institutes inside and outside Iraq because it matures the students’ research and helps them in the discussion before they reach the stage of writing the research and drawing conclusions and the resulting patents or products that may be harnessed as medical products for community service.
