The College of Engineering at the University of Basrah, in cooperation with Schlumberger company, organized an interview with the top graduates in order to select those qualified for training.
Mustafa Mahmoud Saleh, from the company’s recruitment team, gave an introduction about the company and indicated that Schlumberger Oil Services is one of the largest oil companies in the world in terms of size, number of employees and number of departments. The company is working to increase the number of employees and aims to train and employ graduate students from the College of Engineering.
As they are looking for a certain class of students who excel academically and have communication and work skills. The company trains students and introduces them to the nature of work and the pressures they face and work to increase their skills.
The graduates were tested and interviewed by Mustafa Muhammad Saleh and Muhammad Latif Jassim from the Schlumberger recruitment team, and the interviews included presenting the graduates' CVs, English language skills, the graduates' readiness to work in the company's business and adaptation to work conditions.
