The College of Pharmacy at the University of Basrah, in cooperation with the Syndicate of Pharmacists in Basra, is preparing to organize the Second International Scientific Conference for Pharmaceutical Sciences under the slogan (Pharmaceutical Sciences and its Role in the Sustainability of Society) for the period from 18-19 May 2022 at 9 AM in the hall of the Oil Cultural Center.
The Dean of the College of Pharmacy stated that the conference will include four topics: the first topic is pharmacies, the pharmaceutical industry and pharmaceutical chemistry, the second topic is clinical pharmacy, drugs and toxicology, the third topic will be laboratory sciences and biotechnologies, and the fourth topic is about drugs, medicinal plants and sustainable development, and the areas of participation are scientific research, a scientific poster or review article.
Shari added that the researcher should send the full research that includes (the title of the research, the names of the researchers, their place of work, emails and phone number, the abstract, the introduction, the materials and methods of work, the results, the discussion, and the sources) in English and in a Word format to the following email:(http://pharm.sc.conf2@uobasrah.edu.iq).
As the entire research is received for the purpose of conducting the scientific evaluation, and the researcher is informed of the acceptance or rejection of the research to participate in the conference within seven days of sending the research in order to make amendments within a maximum period of five days only.
It is worth noting that the number of research words should not exceed 5000 words and the deadline for submitting research is Monday, 25-4-2022.
Coordination has also been made with the Iraqi Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the College of Pharmacy, University of Baghdad, to publish scientifically evaluated research, according to the researcher’s request, so that the evaluation will be sent to the journal, provided that the researcher bears the cost of publication and according to the researcher’s desire to publish.
