The President of Basrah University, Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, met with the students representatives of the university's scientific and humanities colleges.
The President of the University listened to the problems and obstacles presented by the students' representatives at the various stages of all the colleges of the university, and some proposals that could serve the general interest of education.
University President Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi stressed during this meeting the need to take into account the public interest when posing problems objectively and to stay away from personal requests and promised to find quick and effective solutions in the interest of the students and the colleges.
Shaheen stressed the need to hold such meetings on a regular basis, considering that students are the basic building block for countries' progress and development.
