The Department of Chemistry at the University of Basrah hosted a lecture entitled "the use of geospatial technologies", by Dr. Haleema Abdul Jabbar Abdul Rahma.
The aim of this lecture is to Clarify the uses of geospatial and modern applications in the fields of life and advocacy in a large way because of its characteristics in reducing effort and spending and giving accurate and amazing results.
The main point of the lecture is to addres the remote sensing and geographic information systems technologies, the areas used in them, the principle of their work, how to enter data into these programs, what are their components and areas of use to obtain quick and accurate results.
