The University of Basrah, in cooperation with Miqat Al-Huda Humanitarian Organization and the Civilian Foundation for Press and Media, organized its first conference under the slogan (The law and the Dialectic of Social Evils: Harassment, Extortion and Abuse as Models) in an official and academic presence.
The conference aims to shed light on the most important extraneous phenomena that society suffers from, to reach their roots and to develop special studies to get rid of them.
The conference included special research papers on these anomalies in society by academics and specialists in this field.
The Assistant President for Administrative Affairs of Basrah University, Dr. Ali Himdhi Diab, stated that the educated and conscious segment in this society, which represents a state of sophistication in behavior, will lead to salvation from these deviant and emerging phenomena, so our university hosted the first conference because it felt the need to eradicate these pests and build a conscious and healthy generation to lead the country towards a prosperous future.
