to develop children's talents; The College of Education for Human Sciences - University of Basra held a free drawing festival in cooperation with the University’s Primary School, and in the presence of (Professor Dr. Hamid Siraj Jaber), the Dean of the College of Education for Human Sciences and his administrative assistant (Associate Professor Dr. Nawfal Kazem Mahous), the director, staff and students of the school who are talented in Drawing, and the artistic activity officer, the arts trainer at the college (Ms. Seddiqa Muhammad Jaber) supervised the students’ work in partnership with the art education teachers in the school, and distributed them tools, colors and paintings for drawing, and the students were creative in choosing the subjects of drawing, which indicates the level of awareness that they They received it from their teachers in the school, as their topics varied between national, social, environmental and other issues.
At the conclusion of this festival, (Prof. Dr. Hamid Siraj Jaber), Dean of the College of Education for Human Sciences, distributed gifts to the participants in this festival.
The festival reflected the level of cooperation and integration with other institutions, especially with educational institutions. The school administration commended this activity and cooperation, and thanked the Dean of the College (Professor Dr. Hamid Siraj Jaber) for his cooperation in organizing this festival, which made these students happy and demonstrated their abilities.
Professor Hamid Siraj Jaber stated that children’s drawings, in addition to being a talent, are an expression of his ideas, even if the method of drawing is simple.
