Teaching staff at the College of Pharmacy at Basrah University Zainab Najm Abdulnabi, instructor Noor Kazem Jawad and assistant professor Dr. Gibran Khalil Hassan published a paper entitled (Prevalence of Drug-Drug Interaction in Hospitalized Patient in Basrah City; Southern of Iraq) in the Indian Journal of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology in India with an impact factor 0.25.
The research included a follow-up of the type and importance of drug interactions for drugs taken by patients admitted to Al-Fayha Hospital in Basra because of their impact on the patient's health and recovery.
The aim of the research is to identify the harmful drug interactions that lead to an increase in the deterioration of the disease, as the type of frequency and severity of drug interactions was diagnosed to identify the drugs that should not be given together because they may lead to significant health damage.
