The Department of Ecology at the College of Science at the University of Basra organized a seminar on treating water contaminated with petroleum hydrocarbons.
The seminar, in which the master's student, Rand Salah Khalifa, lectured, aims at methods of treating water contaminated with petroleum hydrocarbons and focusing on nano-treatment for its ability to dispose of petroleum hydrocarbons in a safe manner without leaving hazardous residues in the treated water and its ability to improve the quality of water for reuse for multiple purposes.
