Master's thesis entitled (Mineralogy, Geochemistry and industrial assessment of sand dunes, Missan governorate, Southeast of Iraq). Hold at the College of Science, Geology Department. The presenter Fadia waleed Majeed demonstrates the most important objectives by evaluate the sands dunes that are widely spread at the eastern of Missan governorate in terms of the mineralogy and geochemistry in order to benefit them for industry after purifying by using different methods to raise the percentage of silica and reduce the percentages of the impurities and thus prepare both of high-purity crystalline silica and high pure silica gel of different industrial applications which it is considered as one of the proposed solutions to reduce the problem of encroachment and the spread of sand dunes in an environmentally friendly manner.
