
During a visit to the Iraqi pavilion dedicated to Higher Education and Iraqi universities at Expo2020 Dubai, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Nabeel Kadim Abdul Sahib reviewed projects related to educational and service aspects that aim at developing the university environment according to international standards, especially those related to projects of university educational hospitals, residential complexes, dormitories, sports cities, central medical laboratories, stem cell therapy center and the establishment of specialized technological incubators, as well as agricultural and livestock projects.
Dr. Abdul Sahib called on attracting international companies to implement projects submitted by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and Universities of Mosul, Al-Qadisiyah, Diyala, Northern Technology, Nineveh and Fallujah.
His Excellency expressed the warm welcome to the participation of Higher Education institutions in Expo 2020 in Dubai and the opening of aspects of coordination and cooperation with international experiences and keenness on qualitative performance that enables Iraqi universities to achieve their programs for developing the university environment and implementing their investment plans according to the standards of quality educational services and their academic requirements.
It is worth mentioning that the visit was attended by the Iraqi ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, a number of diplomats, advanced staff of public and private universities, and the Ministerial team headed by the Directorate of Construction and Projects.
