College of Engineering Holds a Workshop Entitled (Evaluation of liners used in drilling)

Within the scientific cooperation concluded between the Department of Petroleum Engineering and the International Oil Services Company Halliburton, the Department of Petroleum Engineering at the College of Engineering at the University of Basrah held a workshop entitled Evaluation of liners used in drilling

Presented by Haider Walid Al-Saffar, the consulting engineer at Halliburton Company.

The workshop aims to introduce students to the use of an oil program specialized in designing well linings, StressCheck, granted by the company to support the oil department, which contributes to the development of the department’s curricula by addressing real problems and their solutions in the Iraqi oil fields, which increases the awareness of present students and future engineers.
