The College of Education for Human Sciences at the University of Basra and the Association of Educators in Basra organized the first joint international scientific conference entitled (Developing the strategic performance of educational work to meet educational challenges).
The aim of the conference was to monitor the problems facing the educational process in its various stages and which stand in the way of achieving its objectives, as well as to propose and develop effective solutions, treatments and procedures to confront the challenges that hinder the educational and learning process, while defining priorities in the improvement plan based on the available and specific diagnosis in this regard. All of this is in keeping with modern trends in educational and educational methods, developing curricula and teaching methods, exchanging experiences and transferring information, and achieving knowledge integration through communication between universities and other educational institutions in a way that guarantees the solid outputs of education, and this in turn aims to develop the strategic foundations that give education planning tools. futuristic.
The conference started by presenting the three axes on which the participating research was based. The first axis was about the challenges facing educators in terms of school violence, its forms, causes and treatment, soft war as well, cultural invasion and so on. As for the second axis, it was about the challenges facing Educational administration and how to address it, while the third axis ensures the educational response to meet the challenges that impede educational progress and its educational and educational process.
The conference concluded with a set of recommendations, the most important of which was the necessity of knowledge and intellectual communication between academic and educational institutions, and the consequent necessity of maturing serious thinking in developing effective solutions to the problems and obstacles that hinder the progress of the educational process, as well as the importance of following up on those solutions. The conference also recommended the importance of keeping pace with The development in the context of modern trends in teaching, its methods and cognitive mechanisms, and the need for the competent authorities to be concerned with developing the level of competence of educational bodies at all levels. In addition, the conference emphasized, in all of its recommendations, the need for government leaders in the country to take a major role in planning, following up and supporting the sector Education in our beloved country Iraq
