Under the supervision and support of the Dean of the College of Fine Arts, Prof. Dr. Ali Abdullah Al-Kinani, the Audio-Visual Department (Cinematic and Television Arts) at the College of Fine Arts at the University of Basrah established the University Forum for Film Creativity for Students of Basra University, College of Fine Arts
The forum's activities kicked off today, Tuesday, March 29, at Marla Hall, Bab Al Zubair Colleges Complex
The forum included the reading of the national anthem and Surat Al-Fatihah on the souls of the martyrs of Iraq, after which the Dean of the College of Fine Arts, Prof. Ali Abdullah Al-Kinani, gave his speech in which he praised the efforts of the organizing committee and the organizers of this public forum, wishing success and success to all those working on it For his part, Head of the Audio-Visual Department, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel-Zahra Mohamed, confirmed that this forum is to develop student capabilities in film production, as the number of participating films reached 13 shows, and this forum will have presentations of the films winning the three centers that were chosen by a committee of professors and academics from the Department Audio-visual to be displayed in all faculties of the University of Basra
The Dean of the College also honored academic figures, employees and professors who have a significant and effective contribution to the College of Fine Arts in general and the Audio-Visual Department in particular.
The forum was attended by the Dean of the College of Arts and a group of professors, employees and students of the College of Fine Arts
