The College of Arts at the University of Basrah organized a scientific symposium on the effective role of music in human scientific and cognitive outcomes.
The symposium, which was organized in cooperation with the Department of Music at the College of Fine Arts, aims to clarify that music is the tangible embodiment of audible beauty, and that music and musicians have the greatest impact on human life, regardless of gender, religion, race or language.
The symposium included several topics, dealing with music in Nietzsche's thought, as well as the psychological and cognitive impact of music on human and society.
The symposium demonstrated the technical functions of music in postmodern arts, as well as its environmental impact and its important place in the stages of human thought.
