The current research aims to identify the effect of brief counseling on the development of self-vitality among educational counselors.
To test the research hypothesis, the researcher followed the experimental method and used the experimental design for one group with a pre and post- test. The research community included male and female counselors from all levels of study for the academic year (2020-2021) in Basra Governorate, as the research community reached (491) male and female counselors, and to achieve the goal of the research The researcher has prepared a self-vital scale, as the scale in its final form consists of (25) items and falls into three areas:
The results of the research showed that there were statistically significant differences between the average ranks of the experimental group members’ scores on the post-test of the self-vital scale.In light of the researcher's findings, we can conclude the following
Conclusions:
1-The nature of the short counseling method gives an impetus to how to deal with future problems in a new and advanced way and in shortening the time.
Recommendations:
1-Informing counselors of the importance of brief counseling as a preventive and curative method for the prevention of problems for the purposes of treating problems.
