The Department of History at the College of Education for Human Sciences organized a scientific symposium on (fasting is a paradise from Hell), with the participation of researchers and specialists.
The symposium included a lecture presented by the representatives of the Imam Hussainiya Shrine, Sheikh Hani Abdul Nabi Al-Asadi, and Sheikh Ramadan Kareem, in which they dealt with (interpretation of some Qur’anic verses and prophetic hadiths urging adherence to heavenly legislation, most notably seeking knowledge and an explanation of the virtue and reward of commitment that the individual obtains from compromises). mundane and eschatological).
In addition to that, the symposium discussed the basis of the religion, which is prayer, which comes before fasting, if it is accepted before it, and prayer here is like the head of the body. The symposium also discussed how to make sure that prayer is acceptable or not? What are the evidences for its acceptance, and how will prayer come on the Day of Resurrection to hold the servant accountable for performing it on time and for abiding by it? And you say, I have made my face white, may God whiten your face, or you say, I have made my face, may God have blackened your face, and after that comes fasting and its importance and benefit to the believer, for fasting is health for the body.
The symposium indicated that for every action or matter until it is done correctly, there are premises, and these premises are a basic condition in every action. Therefore, paying attention to the premises is an important and necessary matter and must be taken as a general behavior.
