The College of Fine Arts at the University of Basrah has been nominated among the best eight colleges in the world in the (THE) classification to win the Oscars in higher education, topping the world's largest universities.
The College of Fine Arts will participate in the final ceremony, which will be held at an international university on May 31, 2022.
The College of Fine Arts entered the competition with its pioneering project (Tamkeen), which was established by the Dean of the College, Dr. Ali Abdullah Al-Kinani, through which, over the course of a year, many talents and creative energies of different age groups were incubated, as well as encouraging young people to transform their talents into work projects and supporting creative and talented women and establishing workshops and technical activities that support them, which aim to develop performance and improve their financial situation.
It is worth mentioning that the College of Fine Arts at the University of Basrah is nominated for this competition for the second time in a row.
