A master’s thesis at the College of Agriculture, University of Basrah discussed the study of some aspects of the control of Varroa nipple on honey bee colonies in Basra Governorate. Months included September and October for the 2020 season and February for the 2021 season and for three different locations in Basra Governorate: Al-Haritha, Shatt Al-Arab and Abi Al-Khasib districts. The thesis aimed to use natural plant materials to control Varroa mites and reduce its harmful effects on honey bees. The researcher recommended studying other plants and testing their effectiveness on Varroa mites, as well as using the fumigation method to control Varroa mites.
