The College of Education for Human Sciences at the University of Basra organized a scientific dialogue symposium on the provisions of fasting with the participation of professors and students of the Department of Quranic Sciences.
The symposium included a dialogue between students and professors about the provisions of fasting that are presented to students during their working hours in the blessed month of Ramadan, presented by Dr. Hikmat Jareh Sabr and Dr. Mortada Jawad Awwad and led by teacher Ahmed Jassim Thani, in which they tried to answer students’ jurisprudential questions related to the provisions of fasting, especially those related to travel provisions. And cutting the legal distance during going and returning between their place of residence and the place of study, as well as the provisions that break the fast and the provisions related to women’s fasting and other affliction issues that the fasting people need.
The symposium discussed the students' questions that were asked directly or indirectly through the electronic form that was prepared for this purpose.
