Palm Research Center, University of Basrah, organized a panel discussion on propagation of date palms by seedling method.
The panel discussion, in which Dr. Hassan Abdel-Imam lectured, aims to explain the advantages of the methods of extraction and cultivation, and to avoid common mistakes during cultivation.
The panel discussion dealt with the practical and scientific method of using propagation by farmers in order to match the resulting palm trees with the mother plant in all its characteristics and genetic characteristics and the dates of planting with the foundations of uprooting offshoots and solving problems before and after planting.
