The Pharmaceutics Department of the College of Pharmacy at the University of Basrahh organized a panel discussion entitled (Bilosome as a new development of vesicular system) with the participation of researchers and specialists. The seminar included a lecture by Assistant Lecturer Nour Youssef, in which the seminar discussed the new vesicular drug delivery systems that brought the pharmaceutical industry to a whole new level by addressing many barriers associated with drug delivery. Oral agents for therapeutic agents and the immune response However, the efficacy of conventional vesicles has been compromised by their instability in the gastrointestinal tract, necessitating modification of the bilayer structures to improve their resistance in vivo. The panel added: The bleosome is an advanced type of vesicular system that contains bile salts embedded in the membrane of the vesicular system. It is known that bile salts are widely used as penetration enhancers in the biological industries and enhance oral bioavailability. Adding bile as part of the system improves the stability of vesicles in the system. The digestive system compared to the traditional species by the property of repulsion with the bile salts present in the digestive system, which causes the digestion of traditional vesicles, sodium taurocholate and sodium deoxycholate, among the examples used in the preparation of the pleosome.
