The President of Basrah University, Prof. Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, inaugurated a computer lab, a library and a prayer room in the College of Dentistry, which were rehabilitated and equipped under the directives of his Excellency.
The opening was attended by Prof. Dr. Zaki Abdullah, the University President’s Assistant for Scientific Affairs, and Assistant Professor Dr. Fateh Al-Khaqani, Dean of the College, and some deans of the colleges.
Al-Khaqani stressed the readiness of the laboratory to receive students to study computer subjects, as well as the college’s preparation of a library to invest the students’ free time with reading, and the construction and equipping of a prayer room for male students and another for female students, pointing to the unlimited support provided by the Presidency of the University of Basrah, which had a positive impact towards a better reality.
