In conjunction with the hospitality in the holy month of Ramadan, the College of Education for Human Sciences - University of Basra, in cooperation with the Hussainiya Holy Shrine, organized a symposium on (the philosophy of fasting) for students of the Department of Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance at the City of Science Hall. The symposium included recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, and then a lecture Presented by the international arbitrator and director of the House of the Qur’an in Basra, Sheikh Adnan Al-Salihi, and the symposium concluded with a religious competition aimed at enriching students’ knowledge in the holy month of God.
