The President of the University of Basra, Prof. Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, granted the University Shield to the Director of the Ibn Sina Center for E-Learning, Dr. Uday Bashir Issa, in addition to honoring him with a letter of thanks and appreciation for his active role within the work team in obtaining the university’s accreditation to open an IELTS exam center in cooperation with the British Consulate. This achievement serves the province of Basra in particular and the southern region in general, bearing in mind that the IELTS exam is one of the most reliable English language tests, which allows students to be admitted to the most prestigious international universities.
