The College of Fine Arts at the University of Basrah obtained an international quality certificate (ISO 9001) from the British International Business Development Organization for Standardization (BGDS) as part of the college's endeavor to develop and improve performance.
The Dean of the College, Dr. Ali Abdullah Aboud Al-Kinani, indicated that the College has become among the scientific institutions that seek to implement international quality standards and raise the level of performance.
The college's obtaining the ISO 9001 certificate makes all international institutions deal with the college, its professors and its graduates with a high level of confidence.
Accordingly, the quality mark will be placed on the website, official communication pages, all scientific and administrative transactions, and technical and scientific productions.
One of the advantages of this certificate is the quality system that provides a vision that becomes appreciated by external parties: because it guarantees that the institution is proceeding to achieve its goals on sound foundations.
