The College of Dentistry at the University of Basrah ranked fifth in the Arab world according to the Times classification for sustainable development for 2022.
The Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Fateh Al-Khaqani, said that the success of the College of Dentistry in enhancing its position in the Arab and international classifications and obtain competitive positions is a success for the University of Basrah, which ranked first locally and thirteenth in the Arab world in the Times classification.
He added that Iraqi universities and colleges have an increasing competitive presence in international rankings.
It is worth mentioning that the international classification works on evaluating universities by achieving a number of United Nations goals out of (17) goals, including the quality of education, health, partnerships, industry and innovation.
