The college of Science, in the Department of Mathematics, held a seminar entitled “On the approximation of functions by Bernstein operators” for postgraduate student Mostafa Kamel Shehab. The seminar aims to present some basic definitions of the well-known Bernstein operators and give some types of generalizations of Bernstein operators followed by three main theorem first is Korovkin theorem then Voronovskaja Asymptotic formulae and last two error theorem are presented
