A master’s thesis at the College of Agriculture at the University of Basrah discussed the exact propagation of Paulownia in tissue culture and the study of salinity tolerance levels. The thesis of the researcher (Manaf Abdel Hamid Muhammad) included testing a number of combinations of plant growth regulators and a culture medium for tissue culture to stimulate the formation of callus and vegetative buds and the production of salt-tolerant plants. Where three concentrations of auxin and three concentrations of cytokinin were used with MS salts in the culture media for tissue culture and the formation of combinations of them. The thesis aims to identify the best combination of agricultural media to produce a salinity-tolerant plant The thesis concluded that the best combination of using 0.5 mg of auxin and 3 mg of cytokinins with MS salts stimulated the formation of callus and vegetative shoots and the production of salt-tolerant paulownia plants resulting from tissue culture. The thesis recommended studying other levels of agricultural media for salt tolerance and using them to produce other salt-tolerant plants
