The College of Education for Human Sciences holds a symposium on curricula and ways to develop them.
Within the framework of the college’s strategy aimed at community communication and studying its problems and finding solutions to them in cooperation with the Directorate of Education of Basra, the unit for studying religious and historical sites in central and southern Iraq in the college held a workshop tagged with (curricula and ways to develop them), the workshop witnessed the presence of the Dean of the College of Education for Human Sciences (Professor Dr. Hamid Siraj Jaber) respected and a group of supervisors from the departments of educational supervision and specialized supervision, in addition to the presence of a number of teachers and students of our college. Director of the Abi Al-Khasib Education Department, where the participants focused on the curricula with all its branches and the accompanying problems, starting from the kindergarten curricula and special education to the preparatory school curricula, as they shared experiences they encountered while performing their work, and provided some solutions to them.
It is noteworthy that the workshop recommended the formation of a joint committee between the Basra Education Directorate and our college; For the purpose of making recommendations and following up their implementation with the competent authorities.
The honorable Dean stated that this workshop is one of the things that bode well for the openness of educational colleges to educational institutions and vice versa. For cooperation and coordination to solve problems and develop curricula, and pointed out that there are many positive points in the educational process that must be focused on and developed.
