The Department of Geology, College of Science was honored to visit both the Soil Departments of the College of Agriculture and the Applied Department of the College of Marine Sciences, University of Basra. During the visit, a lecture was given by Assist. Prof. Dr. Basim Hamid Sultan, in which he explained the importance of Geology and the diversity of its specializations, in addition to knowing the interrelationships and common topics of the Geology Department with the Departments of Soil and Applied Sciences.
